(question) Hi Debbie - I saw your name in an old message and seem to be having the same problem as you once did. I installed Outlook 2003 and when I open the program, I get a window titled Connection details and it has the server name NULL, user name NULL, port 3268/ I click cancel or OK and the program works fine. How do I get rid of that silly window? Thanks for any help you can give me. By the way, I am using Windows XP and am on a cable modem. David
(for more info see technology problems & solutions) I got rid of it! Unreal! After all that-I did what you said and found the LDAP address book and removed it. Perfect now! Thanks. Know anything about Excel? I have an error message there also. Thanks again for your help. David
(question) I installed Excel 2003 (actually upgraded from 2000). When I open Excel I get the following message: Unable to find:
C:\ProgramFiles\MicrosoftOffice\Office11\Library\MobileDB.XLA.
. INSTALLATION INCOMPLETE! I close that message and Excel opens and seems to work ok. Any thoughts? Thanks again for your help, Debbie. David
(answer) You did it again!! I had installed a program on my Palm (Mobile DB). Silly. I deleted the program from my computer and my Palm and lo and behold...no message!! I cannot thank you enough, Debbie. You are wonderful! Now tell me who you are and why you are so damn smart!!!!! Thanks again, David

Debbie and her husband Rob performed a complex consulting assignment for me. It involved packing up and moving a household cross-country . . .Throughout the process, Debbie was straightforward, brave, and cheerful, demonstrating resourcefulness and steadfastness. I was struck by her ability to assimilate everything that had to be done, taking into account every possible contingency. . . Debbie and Rob are terrific people and superb professionals, and I highly recommend them to whatever clients are fortunate enough to cross paths with them.--Catherine

organized. I feel it is a lifelong struggle that I can only win a

"Debbie,
I just want you to know that you helped me immensely...but the most
important thing you did in helping me is not make me feel terribly inept in
my housekeeping. Thanks so much," Mary Dee

"My darling husband, the love of my life, is a horder. He unwraps candy and leaves the wrapper on the table when there's a trash can 6 feet from him. Opens the mail and leaves a pile wherever he opened it - dresser, kitchen table, hall tree... He ate from the bowl of cherries in the fridge and when he got to the ones that were too shriveled to be good, he moved the bowl around the kitchen for days as wherever he had it last got in his way. The garage? I don't even want to know what's out there - suffice it to say, there's a path 3 feet wide (and shrinking) where I bring in the groceries. I know when I'm beat, but Debbie Cook doesn't! She suggested I buy small trash cans, even decorative ones and place them just next to or under wherever he piles things. As if by magic, he began throwing things in the cans! Apparently, he simply didn't want to search for a place for his "trash" to "belong." It took about 45 minutes of discussion with Debbie to arrive at this solution to a problem that has given me more stress over the years than I care to admit. Aside from a full body massage, which, though temporarily relieving my stress, never would solve the problem, this was the best hour I ever purchased! Thanks, Debbie!" Sharee W. (Tulsa, OK)
